Olly Murs is ready to lend her hand of support to One Direction during their 1st tour of North America. The boy from Essex has said that the tour was a “shot in the dark” for him. He will join the Irish boy band at the ending of the month of May. Olly Murs will provide One Direction the necessary help before he will release his 1st single in United States.

While discussing about departing for the tour with the band One Direction, he claimed this to BBC Breakfast that he is really excited about the whole prospect. He says that the members of the Band had a marvelous impact. He is excited and that was pretty much evident the way he was blatantly open about the massive fun they hope to have together. He added that the five members of this Irish Boy Band are to him as “Five Justin Beibers”. Olly Murs said that be it America or UK, everybody is falling in Love with the “One Direction” boys.

He stated that he is hoping to be the 6th member and hopes he will be admired and receive the same amount of adulation as the “One Direction” Band. He says that he is completely unknown in North America.

Olly Murs has his second album “In Case You Didn’t Know” released and is doing quite well in a number of countries. He stated that the album has kept him going so far and he has kept his fingers crossed. He stated that he worked really hard for the album. He claims that the song is doing quite well in France, it got certified as platinum in Germany and to top it all it is the number one song in Luxembourg.

Olly Murs is very upset that Adele’s acceptance speech at this year’s BRIT Awards for the Best Album category was cut short.

The 27-year old singer who belted out hits such as ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ and ‘Dance with Me Tonight’ also believes that this has mainly happened due to the way television operates these days. He comforted Adele by saying that she does not need to worry over this as awards are going to be coming her way for the many more years to come.

He told in an interview that he really feels for her and that it is an unfortunate thing for an artist to experience. He also thinks that it is unfair to her as Damon Albarn was on the stage before with Blur and his bit went on for quite some time. Adele obviously was planning to thank some people she felt that she didn’t thank before.

However, it was unacceptable that James had to be mean and had to cut her speech short to ensure the progress of the show. He added that it is quite unfortunate that things work this way these days. Keeping in mind how talented she is and the voice she has, Adele is sure to win numerous awards for the next decade or two; but she did deserve a few more minutes to complete her speech.

Olly himself gave a great performance last night while he sang his BRIT nominated track ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ at London’s O2 Arena. He will also continue with his UK arena tour and appear at Aberdeen today for another crowd-filled performance.

Olly Murs Set For the Xtra Factor Return

Olly Murs admits a possibility of returning to his hosting role on the television series The Xtra Factor. He confessed that he did not want the TV show to overshadow his music and had been thinking of quitting his position as a host on the show. However, the ‘please don’t let me go’ singer admitted to returning to the set. He had made a debut on the show along with Caroline Flack on 2011 series. The awesome chemistry between the two of them onscreen made a lot of speculation on their relationship. By the end of the series he put to bed the rumors about a relationship with Caroline Flack and said that they got along well and flirted with each other but were nothing more than good mates. He said that he is happy to remain single and is not looking for a girlfriend at this point of his career. He wants to focus on his music and not entangle himself in a romance and complicate his career.

The ‘heart skips a beat’ star revealed that he shot a video for his new single. He said that he had been working all night for the filming but refused to disclose the name of the track. The video shooting has been done at the shopping center in Westfield Stratford, next to the Olympic Stadium. He reveals that he has been running throughout from the start to the end of the video. By the end of the shoot he was exhausted and said that he felt like having done 15 to 16 hours of gym session.

Olly Murs has also admitted that he has purchased his first house and he has been planning to become a millionaire by the end of 2012.
